Monday: Off we go to Scotland, breaking our journey with a stop in the attractive town of Moffat. After free time we head to our hotel to settle in before dinner.

Hogmanay: Today we visit the vibrant city of Glasgow. See the sights such as the gothic cathedral, the Victorian Necropolis or the city’s oldest house which was built in 1471. Shop til you drop in the super shops or just soak up the electric atmosphere as the city prepares for the Bells. We return to the hotel to prepare for this evening’s festivities which begin with glass of fizz, then a black-tie gala dinner. Afterwards dance the night away and bring in 2026 in style!

New Year’s Day: After a leisurely breakfast we head to Helix Park, home to The Kelpies –the world’s largest equine sculptures. Standing proudly at 30 meters tall, they embody the power and grace of Scotland’s rich heritage with included admission. Return to the hotel and perhaps relax with a swim in the inviting pool. We enjoy a final evening dinner followed by a fun quiz or game of bingo.

Thursday: Returning homewards we call in at Gretna Green, with its famous Blacksmiths Shop, home to Anvil weddings, but also an award-winning visitor and shopping attraction.
