Excursions

Day one: Matlock
Enjoy an en-route stop in Matlock Bath, a pretty 19th century spa town built along the River Derwent, and a popular destination to visit when exploring the Peak District. 

Day two: Chatsworth House & Bakewell
After a morning visit to Bakewell, we set off to Chatsworth House. The stunning artworks and unique antiques found in the elegant Chatsworth House, also known as the "Palace of the Peaks," are veritable treasures. With sculptures, labyrinths, and water features like the well-known Cascade Fountain, which flows 600 feet down a slope, the gardens are exquisitely created.

Day three: Derbyshire Well Dressings
Well Dressings are works of art made by hand from natural materials like flowers and seeds. Villagers across Derbyshire work together to build complex mosaics on a bed of rich, moist clay using natural elements such as leaves, moss, flower petals, and even coffee beans.
