• Overnight stay in the Glasgow area.
• Through Glencoe & the Highlands, as tranquil valleys and towering mountains pave our way to Mallaig, where we sail to Uist and our base for the next two nights at Benbecula.
• With a local guide we tour the Isle of Eriskay and take the ferry to Barra, the most southerly inhabited island, famed for its beauty.
• Taking a ferry to Harris, a rugged and mountainous island, with deep lochs. Admire the beaches as drive across the spine of the island and onto Lewis, where we stay for two nights at Stornoway.
• Our local island guide will immerse us in folklore and history whilst visiting the Standing Stones of Callanish, (like Stonehenge, but older!) ancient thatched ‘Blackhouses’ and the imposing Carloway
Broch.
• Board the ferry to Ullapool, then a scenic drive to Inverness for free time before our final overnight in central Scotland completes our break.
