Your Excursions

Leeds Castle & Rochester
Dubbed ‘the loveliest castle in the world’, dreamy Leeds Castle sits in glorious landscaped parkland. Later we spend time in historic Rochester, a place cherished by author Charles Dickens.

Kent Coastline & Canterbury
First stop is sleepy Whitstable on the north coastline, a traditional seaside town with quirky shops and oysters! From here we continue past Herne Bay and make our way to Canterbury, where the medieval texture of the city remains amongst the precincts of the famous cathedral.

Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway & Rye
Travelling along the south coast we join the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, a popular narrow-gauge railway which winds along the expanses of Romney Marsh. This is followed by time in the  medieval citadel of Rye.

VOCO THE CLIFTON HOTEL, Folkestone

Primarily known for its scenic views and grandeur, this traditional Victorian-style hotel dates to 1864 and is steeped in a rich history and nostalgia. It takes pride in being one of the most historic hotels in Folkestone.
