Your Excursions

The New Forest & Buckler’s Hard
Our full day out begins with a drive through the New Forest National Park, famous for its wild ponies which wander freely. Then it’s to Buckler’s Hard, an 18th century ship building village sat on the Beaulieu River. Here we explore the museum, step into the shipwright’s cottage and discover how residents lived and worked in this picturesque village. We complete the day with a tranquil cruise down the Beaulieu River – an unspoilt haven, rich in history and wildlife.

Nestled in the heart of rural southern England, Salisbury is every bit the classic English city. Enjoy time to explore the medieval charms on offer in this compact city, including the thriving market, super independent shops and gothic cathedral with the tallest spire in England and home to the Magna Carta.
