A full day to experience the charms of Southport. Attractions include a Grade II listed pier, the second largest in the UK, complete with a little train. For retail therapy, Lord Street is the epitome of elegant shopping in classy Victorian surroundings. The resort’s promenade is home to King’s Gardens, and away from the waterfront you’ll find the Botanical Gardens and the quirky British Lawnmower Museum.

Full Day: The Lake District & Lake Windermere Cruise
A full day in the scenic Lake District as we head to Bowness-on-Windermere, the popular tourist haunt, with its quaint alleyways and lively lakeside quays. Here there is free time before enjoying a relaxing cruise on Lake Windermere, sit back and admire the fells and ancient woodlands accompanied by interesting commentary.
